In the month of April, the Expo for the environment was carried out, with confirmed efforts towards the conservation of the environment, from the PROREGIONS program from the Autonomous University of Nayarit (UAN, for their Spanish acronym), in coordination with other entities in the environmental sector along with basic education institutions.
In the month of May, as it has been happening for over ten years, the International Bird Festival of Salt Lake in the state of Utah took place once again.
On June 8, International Ocean’s Day was celebrated and within this frame, the International Festival of Migratory Birds of San Blas was invited by the Academic Unit of Fishing Engineering of the UAN to share its project with the educators and students of that institution.
One of the great things about being able to participate in projects like this one is not only to be able to associate with entities working for the environment, but also to find and recognize people’s efforts in their concern for the conservation of their surroundings.
On June 26 of this year the signing of the agreement with the school Center for Technological Studies of the Sea no. 26 of San Blas, Nayarit (CETMAR) was carried out.
Meaning Large Palm Tree, Palma Grande is a community in the Municipality of Tuxpan. It is there that we went to accomplish an eco-tourism workshop working with people from that community as well as others in the vicinity.

The International Festival of Migratory Birds of San Blas Nayarit works closely with all the entities found in this municipality. One of these is the Secretary of Navy through its military naval zone.
When the need arises to contribute to the place where our events take place, there is an immediate response from the inhabitants organizations to help resolve, in coordination with others, those problems that afflict the communities which may not always have an immediate answer.
