According to the Bicentennial of Independence day and centenary of the Revolution war celebrated this year in our country, it is our duty to talk about one of the most important migratory species for Mexican, which is the golden eagle, because this bird is symbol of our identity.
In the third Festival, we placed two satellite radio transmitters in two migratory birds (cinnamon limosa) to follow these birds for a minimum period of two years the migratory patterns of this specie and to establish links between the northern countries involved in migration of birds, this project is thanks to conservation organizations and research institutions in Canada, USA and Nayarit.
*Following the achievement of our goals and Environment Preservation, on the seventh of June, 2010, we signed a cooperation agreement with the “Aura Jaguar” Civil Association which work in Bahia de Banderas.

The International Festival of Migratory Birds of San Blas Nayarit works closely with all the entities found in this municipality. One of these is the Secretary of Navy through its military naval zone.
